Fireworks and Flannels: Fireworks, Beer Tent, Kids Activities

After a very successful first year, the 2nd annual Fireworks and Flannels is back at Waterford Oaks County Park with a ton of free activities for the family. Presented by Oakland County Parks, the winter event will be held on Sat, Feb. 14, 2026, and will feature:

• Fireworks
• A beer tent
• Food trucks
• Fire pits
• Live entertainment
• An out-and-back 5K race through the park
• Horse-drawn wagon rides
• Pony rides
• Sledding
• Petting farm from Bowers School Farm
• An illuminated walking path
• Face painting

Schedule:

Fri., Feb. 13

• 5-7 p.m. Light the Night Flannel 5K.

Sat., Feb. 14

• 4-8 p.m. Illuminated walking path, general activities, beer tent, food trucks, and live entertainment.
• 4-7:30 p.m. Horse drawn wagon rides & petting farm with pony rides.
• 8 p.m. Fireworks.
