Restaurants, Bars Can Reopen Feb. 1 at 25 Percent Capacity

Indoor dining at restaurants and bars in Michigan can resume on Feb. 1, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced on Friday morning.

  • Restaurants can operate at 25-percent capacity, with a curfew of 10 p.m.
  • Concessions can resume at casinos, movie theaters and bowling alleys.
  • The new order will last three weeks once it takes effect.

Indoor dining at restaurants and bars has been suspended since Nov. 18.
