Here We Go Again: Bars & Restaurants to Stop Indoor Service Nov. 18
Michigan bars and restaurants must close indoor dining areas for three weeks beginning Wed., Nov. 18 at 12:01 to comply with a new emergency order. They can still offer outdoor dining, carry-out and delivery. We’d expect to see places beefing up their heaters, igloos, firepits and using other creative measures to keep patrons safe and warm.
Other aspects of the new order include:
- Gyms can remain open for individual exercise with strict safety measures in place.
- Casinos, movie theaters, bowling alleys and ice arenas and group exercise classes must close. Professional and college sports meeting extraordinary standards for risk mitigation may continue without spectators, however all other organized sports must stop.
